More than 300 exhibitions have been assembled for
museum loans, to more than 76 institutions in
26 states since 1980. For the second consecutive year, William Meek, as guest curator,
has assembled one of the most varied
collections of paintings, drawings, and sculpture by American artists from around the
country for The von Liebig Art Center.
This year, in the spirit of fun and in time for the Florida Presidential Primary, the assembled collection
all pertain to the two animals associated with the Democratic Party and the GOP. It's not a horse
race but you can still pick your winner.
A catalogue is available at the Art Center.
